We, participants (vice-president IDF - V.Ocheretenko; a member of the EASD board - I.Gurjeva, the president of the Moscow Diabetic Association - E.Gustova; chairman Sent -Petersburg of the Diabetic society - M.Shipulina; the president of Diabetic Association RK - N.Tukalevskaja; president of the Azerbaijan scientific endocrinology organization - V.Mirzazade, Novo Nordisk representative - O.Bereznjak, the representative of Endocrinology Association of the Russian Federation Yu..Suntsov) of the working meeting have agreed as follows:
We recognize a generality of our purposes and interests, the certificate of that is that we voluntary have gathered in Saint Petersburg on the first meeting of East Europe associations - members IDF, have developed the project of The Modeling Law « About bases of medical- social protection of the people with diabetes » and initiated its consideration in Inter-parliamentary Assembly of the Countries CIS. *
Understanding importance of our membership in IDF, we consider necessary to speed up work as IDF-EURO in our region, and the East Europe Diabetic associations at the international level.
We ascertain importance and timeliness of display of good will on the part of Diabetic Associations (DA) and Novo Nordisk, that has allowed to establish partner mutual relations and to begin joint actions with the purpose of improvement of quality of the diabetic help.
A positive effect as the result of the first joint steps, allows developing the outlined tendency of consolidation of efforts of DAs, the medical professionals, the governmental structures and a pharmaceutical industry.
For realization of priorities we consider necessary creation of structure (the preliminary name Advisory council) which basic purpose is optimization of the diabetic help in the countries CIS according The Modeling Law « About bases of medical- social protection of the people with diabetes ».
